Attorney focuses his practice exclusively on the defense of those being investigated for or accused of crimes. His passion for criminal defense began while interning for the Essex County Public Defender\u2019s Office as a first-year law student through Seton Hall University Law School\u2019s Pro Bono Program. As a third-year law student, he returned to the Public Defender\u2019s Office through Seton Hall\u2019s Juvenile Justice Clinic and represented countless juveniles at initial proceedings. Since that time, he has represented clients at each and every stage of the criminal justice system, from arraignment to trial by jury. He has argued on behalf of defendants at over 30 detention hearings under New Jersey\u2019s new system of criminal justice reform.

graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in May 2004. He passed both the New Jersey and New York Bar Exams that summer and is currently admitted to practice in both states. He has represented individuals charged with all manner of offenses, from simple possession of marijuana in Municipal Court to homicide charges in Superior Court. He has represented individuals accused of manslaughter, murder, burglary, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of firearms, human trafficking, promoting gambling, gang-related offenses, and many other crimes. In each case he handles, Mr. Rocco works diligently with the client, the prosecutor, and the Court to obtain the best possible result for the client. Over his 14-year legal career, has earned a reputation as one of the top criminal defense lawyers in the region. Mr. Rocco is active in several professional legal organizations, including the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, the Hudson County Bar Association, and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.

Rocco was born and raised in Northern New Jersey, less than 10 miles from New York City. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, exercising, and surfing. He is also an avid vegetable farmer.
